So you come here expecting irony, or at least photos of indie rockers. But you find photos of sheep. Well, isn't it ironic that, when sheared, sheep look sort of like goats? No? Well, doesn't that sheep kinda look like that one guy in that band? No? Well, enjoy some more sheep photos for now. Irony and indie rockers to follow.
I have to admit that, despite the many ridiculous and stupid plot points, I, like, totally cried a little during the last few minutes of The O.C. season finale last night. But to be fair, you could set almost anything to Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" and I would tear up.

It's been a bit quiet here at Seeking Irony over the last few days, but don't you worry your pretty little head about it. Coming soon, photos of sheep and rock stars! Mostly sheep, though.
The bridge-and-tunnel crowd (well, more like the bridge crowd, seeing as D.C. has no tunnels leading into it) was out in full force at the Black Cat on Friday night. Seeing as I avoid these people like the plague, I was taken off-guard, and I wasn't the only one. Quite a few of the Black Cat regulars looked confused to see the club so crowded with so many non-hipsters while the bridge-and-tunnel crowd looked a bit confused by the unfamiliar surroundings.
The DJ who headlined Girl Friday is quite popular with the pressed-khaki-wearing Virginians and had been widely promoted, hence the turnout. Getting tired of protecting our asses from being grinded into, as well as of the repetitive music, Dr. Eve Wircus and I eventually sat down and people-watched.
Some guy: You wanna come dance?
Me: No thanks, we're just sitting here making fun of people.
Some other guy: So, do you go out in Adams Morgan a lot?
Me: No.
Some other guy: Really? Where do you go out, then?
Me: I mostly come here.
Some other guy: Really, here?
Me: Yes. I've gotta go.
